I could make a list of my labels, ranging from mother, writer, devoted disciple of all things hot chocolate, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon), but I don't think a list of labels is the most eloquent descriptor.

Rather, I think you can tell a lot about a person (especially a writer) based on what they choose to write about. Here is a list of my 27 notebooks...or at least the top 27 themes that find their way into my notebooks, over and over again. My posts usually lean toward the general worldview that we are all capable of feeling better, doing better, eating yummier, trying harder, living fuller, and loving longer.

Thanks for stopping by!

PS- If you're checking out my blog in a professional capacity let me add the relevant resume items: I received a Master's degree in American Literature from Brigham Young University in 2003 and since then have taught Advanced Writing and Research Methods at various community colleges in Phoenix and Denver. When I'm not on peanut butter and jelly duty, I am currently working on my first novel.
